Where I Am

I am blogging from St. Louis, Missouri!

Today, I took a small tour at the Cathedral Balisca of St Louis. One word: "WOW"

It is a church covered in mosaics. It's absolutely gorgeous. The history behind the cathedral and the different mosaics can be found in their mosaic museum located downstairs.

Doors open at 7AM and you can walk through the church. I walked around in awe snapping tons of pictures with my iphone.

There is something really special about this place. I imagine it is a reflection of what heaven looks like. Everything is done intricately and intentionally with excellence. I literally had to sit down because the place was so beautiful. It really is a holy place.

Parking: Free street parking. Easy access to the church. You can literally walk right up the stairs.
Bathroom: Womens and Mens bathrooms on either side of the church. Clean, bright, easy access. Although, you have to take the stairs.
Admission: Free admission to the church, of course. There is a museum on the bottom with a $2.00 admission. No one is there to take the admission for you. You deposit it in a huge wooden box. Be honest!
Gift Shop: There is a small gift shop you can visit. It has music, books, necklaces, and other jewelry and knick knacks. It is small, but it has a great selection of things. I bought a friend a "gratitude journal".
Staff/Customer Service: Very good! People were really nice.
